Frequently Asked Questions
I'm caring for my loved one, but I need to be away for a few weeks and need someone to take care of him/her while I am unavailable. Can HMOR help?
Yes! Our short-term respite stays are perfect when family members are away on a vacation or business or require a short break from direct care giving. Short-term stays are also an option for seniors needing extra assistance after a hospital visit or during an illness. Some of our permanent residents also begin their residency with us by evaluating our community through Short-term Respite Stays.

Hidden Meadows on the Ridge is an exceptional value offering all-inclusive services in a modern yet mid-size community. With no entrance fees or long term contracts, one monthly fee typically covers rent, dining, utilities, caregiver services & a host of other amenities. When compared to home health care services, Hidden Meadows on the Ridge offers the security of a 24 hour staffing at a fraction of the cost. Our personal care services offer an affordable care option with charges less than one half the cost of most nursing/rehabilitation centers.
Will the Veteran’s Administration assist me financially in paying for care and rent in a personal care community?
Veterans Aid and Attendance Program may be available for veterans and/or their surviving spouse that reside in our senior living community. This tax free benefit for wartime veterans may provide pensions ranging from $1000-$2000 per month and you do not have to be impoverished to be eligible. To qualify, a resident must have served at least 90 days on active-duty with at least one day served during wartime. For more information feel free to contact our Admissions Director.
What if I am Independent, but my spouse or loved one needs caregiver services?
What sets Hidden Meadows on the Ridge apart from other senior living communities is our ability to accommodate two separate levels of care in the same room. You and your spouse share a large studio unit and receive two levels of care in the same room. You can maintain your independence and know that your spouse can receive the extra care that they need without being asked to separate. 1.Q: When do I know that my parents or loved one would benefit from a personal care community?
